Tiger Woods has officially confirmed his relationship with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of Donald Trump, in a social media post that read, “Love is in the air.”
The legendary golfer shared two images on X, one of the couple posing together and another of them lying in a hammock, with Vanessa’s arm draped across his chest. In his post, Woods expressed his happiness, saying, “Life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.” He also requested privacy for their loved ones.
Rumors about their relationship had been circulating for weeks after the two were spotted together at Torrey Pines in San Diego. Vanessa, who was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. for 12 years and shares five children with him, was seen accompanying Woods and her daughter, Kai, at the Genesis Invitational, where Woods serves as the tournament host.
Kai Trump attends The Benjamin School with Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie. She and Charlie recently participated in a high-profile junior golf tournament, further linking the families.
Woods, known for keeping his personal life private, has rarely shared details about his relationships. His decision to go public echoes his 2013 announcement with Lindsey Vonn when the two released photos together to minimize paparazzi speculation. At the time, Woods said he hoped sharing their own images would reduce media intrusion and protect his children.
Woods’ last serious relationship was with Erica Herman, which ended in 2022 in a contentious legal dispute. His previous marriage to Elin Nordegren ended in 2010 following revelations of multiple affairs.
The announcement comes as Woods recovers from a ruptured left Achilles tendon, which he revealed on March 11. The injury has ruled him out of the upcoming Masters and could sideline him for the rest of the year.
