Abba Marcus Mayanja, the bold and charismatic son of legendary East African artist Jose Chameleone, has announced his decision to delete his TikTok account at the end of the year.
The young star, who gained attention for his candid videos addressing his father’s health concerns, explained that this decision marks a turning point in his journey as he seeks to focus on other creative projects.
Before he bids farewell to TikTok, Abba has promised his fans an unforgettable live session with his iconic father. During the live stream, slated for December 31, the duo will not only interact with fans but also record live songs together.
Abba urged his followers to prepare special gifts as a surprise for Chameleone, saying, “I spoke to my dad, and I told him I would never ask for any other father. I’m so proud of you from the bottom of my heart, and he told me, ‘Don’t worry, my son, I’ve always loved and will always love you.’”
In addition to the live event, Abba revealed his upcoming plans to release a YouTube vlog, followed by exclusive videos featuring his grandparents. He also teased an ambitious project set for April next year, where he will travel to Uganda to create an IRP (Interactive Real-time Participation) vlog. Describing it as a groundbreaking initiative, Abba said, “This will be a live stream like no influencer in Uganda has ever done before.”
The young Mayanja also shared a mature perspective on personal growth and boundaries. “I need to act my age a little bit. I can’t always be trying to rise to the level of adults, you know what I’m saying?” he remarked. He emphasized his non-violent nature, warning critics that he will only address issues publicly if absolutely necessary.
Jose Chameleone expressed deep admiration for his son’s love and courage. “Son, all I see in your eyes is love,” the music legend said. As Abba prepares to take his next steps, his fans eagerly await his creative endeavors and the much-anticipated live stream with his father, a fitting tribute to their unbreakable bond.
