Budaka, eastern Uganda, is in mourning following the untimely death of Hajjati Nabukalu Nusura, the Deputy Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Budaka, in a tragic road accident on Sunday evening.

“I announce the heartbreaking news of the death of the Deputy RDC Budaka, Hajjati Nabukalu Nusura, who has died in an accident this (Sunday) evening at Musita, Budaka,” Babalanda announced in a statement on X (formerly Twitter). “So painful a loss at this time. She will be dearly missed for her dedicated services to the motherland. May her soul rest in eternal peace and condolences to family, friends, and the Presidency at large.”
