The President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Museveni hosted His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa, at State House Entebbe today for a series of high-level discussions.
The meeting covered a wide array of topics including regional security, trade agreements, diplomatic cooperation, and various other significant matters that require thorough deliberation.
Expressing his gratitude for President Ramaphosa’s visit, President Museveni highlighted the importance of collaboration between the two nations on various fronts. The fruitful exchange of ideas and insights during the meeting is expected to further strengthen the bilateral ties between Uganda and South Africa
He was warmly received at Entebbe International Airport by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Affairs, Hon. John Mulimba.
President Ramaphosa was invited by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the two leaders are expected to meet tomorrow to discuss bilateral relations and other crucial matters at State House-Entebbe.
The South African leader last came to Kampala in January 2024 for the 19th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit.
